Non printing printer! Options

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help at all. A couple of days ago, I used my Canon Pixma MP210, and all was fine, the next day, trying to print a census record, the printer would not work, instead it repeatedly displayed a box telling me that there was a paper jam. Well I`ve never had any trouble with regards to paper jamming and there is nothing at all in the printer that should`nt be there, but now I can`t even do any maintenance with it. Any ideas as to what might be the problem, any help appreciated, cheers.
