Canon MP 460 ink not recognised

I have replaced the original cartridges in my Canon MP460 printer with recycled refilled cartridges, these cartridges are however still canon. The printer worked fine for a while except for the ink counters but I put up with this. Now I have an error code UO51 'INK CARTRIDGE NOT COMPATIBLE'.

Has anyone any clues what has gone wrong and how to remedy this problem.

I've tried cleaning the cartrides,I used MPTOOL to reset the ink and EPPROM, perhaps an error on my behalf since the LCD display is now in Chinese.

Because I have the error code UO51 the printer is disabled, I cannot even access the menu.

Please help!

I think you have to buy a new one
