Hello:

Sometime ago my laser Lexmark Optra E310 printer started paper jamming from time to time but when I cleared it each time I was able to print some more. However, since a week or so now I can't print anymore because of this paper jam. While desperately looking for answers on the Internet, I read plenty on the need to clean it, re-align it, etc. to make it function again.

But, I wonder if anyone would know how I could take apart and clean this printer, and/or re-align the parts, etc., and whether it's advisable for me, a totally untechnical person who doesn't even recognize the component parts, to do it.

Just in case more info is necessary: I had it for about 2-1/2 years with minor problems, but don't recall whether I have USB or parallel or how to find out. My OS is PC Win98.

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Adela
