HP 4L compatability with Vista

I've now got Vista and my old (but very good) HP 4L laserjet won't work with it - can anyone help or advise if the Samsung 2010 will serve as well. I have looked at various sites but no description says the Samsung comes with a toner (2 questions in 1)?? :
