Smearing and spots

I have a Lexmark 4039 10R Laser printer that I use at work, it puts spots and is now smearing or shadowing on one side of the page. Have anyone ever experienced this problem or have any knowledge on how to fix it?

You should at first make a cleaning of your printer, or ask the technician to do it. It's probably an exess of toner

i agree, but how long has it been since you changed the drum on this printer... might want to look into that, oh and clean the corona wire.
