Japanese characters printing on Xerox DP360,HP LaserJet4200

Hi,

I am printing a Text report having Japanese characters on Xerox DocuPrint360 printer (with PS option) and HP LaserJet 4200 printer (without PS option). The report printed on "HP LaserJet 4200" shows garbled characters, while the same is correctly printed on "Xerox DocuPrint360".

What could be the reason?
Also what would be the default font used for Japanese characters?

Please note that the report is not PostScript, but a plain Text report.
