HP Deskjet 640c - problems installing

Hi!
I've been trying to install my HP DJ 640c, however am having a few problems. My computer (running win98) doesn't detect the printer at all! When I try to add it manually it doesn't even read the drivers from the CD. I know the printer works fine, because i've installed it successfully on my notebook, but I can't seem to get it working.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
