Hey all,
I have a HP Deskjet 3820 (692C series) and the power light and out of paper light are blinking simultaneously. I have tried reinstalling the printer but it does not work. I have tried printing a test page and all I get is a blank page. I have tried putting in a new cartridge and the lights still blink. Any suggestins on what could be going on.
Lisa

I have the exact same problem and it couldn't have come at a worse time. When I restart printer, it is really slow and makes this old droning sound except for the last 3 seconds where it sounds like it might be back to normal. Sadly, the two lights are still blinking.

First check out the color and black are in their respective place. As sometimes we put color instead of black.

I have a similar problem and I can assure that the cartridge are a the good place ^^ (Trichrome cartrige is larger than the black one)
I've found this FAQ on hp website
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...cname=c00068038
It change anything for me but I think there's something wrong in the mechanism that detect cartrige. What happen when you open the cover of your printer? Does the cartrige comming in the middle or are they jam in the right corner?
