Epson 680 - the red and green lights are flashing, pressing the buttons does not change anything. There is a warning message which indicates I have an 'interior mechanicla problem' (the printer that is not my body.

I am not technically minded but can follow logical steps. Is this something I can resolve or should I consign the printer to the bin?

This means the heads don't move properly. Check out if some object would have fallen inside, othewise your printer is finished.

if i switch on the computer the green and red lights are constantly own and carrier stall moves back and forth without printing anything and it cant pull the paper either.
