I got HP 656c and install it under Win XP
.Everything was ok.I restart my PC and was gonna use my printer under linux redhat 7.2
i could not find out the driver for it on linux drivers list,so i use HP660 driver, everything would be ok,after all,i turn back to Win XP,and Win XP remind "found new hardware Apollo p2500/2600" .
I did not believe linux can change something on the printer, but when i format my Hard Disk, install the fresh Win XP,still the same.So i claim that after install printer under linux, there are somgthing happened,'cause if nothing changed,
hp 656c=hp 656c,Win Xp must recognize it is HP656c,so please give me some ideas about my case.(now although i cancel to install apollo driver for it,everything still ok,print smoothly under linux either XP)

Actually apollo 2500 is the exact same machine, made from HP. The only difference is that you don't have the same garantee on it
