Here is what I did. I used universal ink. Opened the 2 holes on the top and then closed them with a hot glue gun after filling the cartridge.
But the cartridge did not leak and also nothing would come out.
I made a pin hole on top of the sponge and then it all leaked out.
I covered the pin hole with 3 layers of tape and then it was just right it did not leak and the ink came out in the printer.
any better suggestions or which ink is the best for this.
I notice someone else asking about the sensor on a similar machine. One can see the sensor it checks the height of the ink in the cartridge. It can also be fooled by putting some tape over the top of the cartridge.
The way it seems to work is that first the ink in the sponge is used up and then only the ink in the ink reservoir. It seems to me that the universal ink is thicker than the original and therefore needs an additional hole any other suggestions?
