Please help! I have inherited this ancient printer, ive plugged it in and it has installed, now it just wont print! it feeds the paper through when i turn it on, but thats it. When i try to print something it says printer error! I'm sorry if i sound thick! computers are not my thing. It has got ink but they are old cartridges, will that make a difference? will i need to download new drivers? whatever they are!!!! ppplease help. thanks in advance.

probably the inkjet cartridges are clogged if they haven't printed for a while. Try deep cleaning a few times. If not, just buy new cartridges.
