help needed with canon bjc 2100 it isn't working

B) i reinstalled windows me i tried to get my canon printer bjc 2100 working no deal. it does not recognize the port. the disk i received with it when i first received it does not work anymore it states the inf file may be damaged or corrupted i've tried everything well since the disk isn't working i went to canon site and they stated and i did download the windows me printer driver i did still isn't working i have a usb port but only lpt 1 is coming up i can only install this printer with the download from canon but that isn't working. it did print a test page but it keeps saying error in writing to lpt l make sure printer is online it is online!!!! IT worked fine before all of this please someone help thank you my printer is bjc 2110 on the cover my computer is gateway windows me B)

B) B) hi
hi i have my bjc canon 2100 printer running now. i reinstalled all windows and all files twice and i reinstalled printer via printer when i went to new hardware it showed bjc 2100 and a yellow mark it had a problem so i updated driver and it showed windows recognized two ports one was usb i chose that one then i went to device manager under usb bus controller was bjc 2100 when i highlighted it it said no prob but when i hit driver it stated not all drivers were installled over so i hit update driver and it installed my bjc 2100 canon printer to USBPRN01 BJC 2100 it works now thank you for your reply i will keep the website you suggested too thanks hope this will help someone i know how it is when something goes wrong with computer or printer :clap:
